Argentinian. Lawyer, Professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Researcher, Activist. Laura C. Pautassi, Ph.D, is a researcher for the Scientific and Technical Research Council (Consejo de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) a tenured researcher at the Ambrosio Gioja Legal and Social Research Institute (Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas y Sociales A. Gioja) and a professor at the University of Buenos Aires/UBA Law School, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the director of Social Rights and Public Policy Interdisciplinary Working Group (http://www.dspp.com.ar/). Independent expert and president on the Working Group to examine the national reports envisioned in the San Salvador Protocol, Organization of the American States (2010-2018). Specialist in social policies with a gender and human rights perspective. Author of books and articles on Economical, Social and Cultural Rights, labour market and care and social policies.
